Blog #6

Post an image of your finished newspaper.

In the course of the Industrialization Newspaper mini-project, what stands out most to you?
That important information about historic events can be burried based on bias's of reporters and newspapers.

What stands out about the work of one specific other newspaper that you saw in class?
In the New York daily I like how all of the people in the group covered different aspects of the same general theme.

How does this affect the way that you see news or information around you?
I'll probably start paying more attention to the news.

What new thoughts do you have about the subject matter (i.e., the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, the Pullman Strikes, etc.) covered by your newspaper or the others in class?
That the problems that were happening in the late 1800's and early 1900's are very similar than some of the problems that we're having in present day in the economy.

What new thoughts do you have about the way that you work through specific assignments, projects, etc.?
That in writing assignments it's better to have to long of a paper than to short of a paper.
